Compatibility with Madix and Storflex uprights is not guaranteed.

Configuration Reference

Lozier Uprites use a one-inch slotted pattern that allows tool-free shelf height adjustment across the full column. Island Uprites are slotted on both faces to support back-to-back shelving. Wall Uprites are slotted on one face only. Substituting a wall Uprite into an island position eliminates merchandising capacity on the unslotted face.

Standard Lozier Uprite heights are 48, 54, 60, 66, 72, and 84 inches. Section widths of 36 and 48 inches are both available. The Uprite height determines the maximum Top Rail and Back Extension height for the section, so all vertical components must be specified to the same nominal height.

Base Bracket depth must match the Uprite depth in every section. A 19-inch Uprite paired with a 16-inch Base Bracket reduces the load-bearing footprint and voids the rated shelf capacity. Always specify Base Bracket depth equal to or greater than Uprite depth within the same gondola section.

Platinum (PLT) and Charcoal (CHR) are the two standard Lozier finishes and represent the fastest-moving Uprite inventory. Optional Catalog Colors require 8 to 10 weeks from order. Lead times on specific PLT and CHR height and depth combinations vary by SKU; confirm availability before committing to a project schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a Lozier island Uprite and a wall Uprite?

Island Uprites are slotted on both faces, allowing shelves to be loaded from two directions in a back-to-back gondola run. Wall Uprites are slotted on one face only and are designed to mount against a wall. Installing a wall Uprite in an island position leaves one face unslotted and unable to accept shelves or accessories.

How do I know which Lozier Uprite depth to order for my store?

Uprite depth should match the product category being merchandised. Use 13-inch depth for health and beauty or HBC, 16-inch for drug and convenience stores, 19-inch or 22-inch for grocery and general merchandise, and 25-inch for hardware or automotive. Your Base Bracket depth must match the Uprite depth in every section to maintain rated load capacity.

Lozier Uprite height options for gondola shelving

Lozier Uprites are available in six standard heights: 48, 54, 60, 66, 72, and 84 inches. The selected height determines the maximum Back Extension height and Top Rail for the section. All vertical components within a single gondola section must be specified to the same nominal height to maintain structural integrity and finish alignment.

Lozier Uprite finish codes PLT and CHR availability

Platinum (PLT) and Charcoal (CHR) are Lozier standard finishes and are the most commonly stocked Uprite options. Optional Catalog Colors carry an 8 to 10 week lead time and are not stocked at distribution centers.
