S-Series uprights are available in heights ranging from 48 inches to 120 inches, and shelf beams span from 36 to 96 inches to accommodate varying bay widths. Depth selection follows the same logic as the sales floor: lighter-duty overstock and health and beauty carton storage works at shallower configurations, while grocery case storage, hardware, and auto parts backrooms require the deeper beam and decking combinations. Wire decking, particle board decking, and steel panel decking are each available depending on whether the priority is visibility, load distribution, or solid surface for small-format cases. Finish options follow Lozier's standard codes: PLT (Platinum) for facilities that match the sales floor finish, and CHR (Charcoal) for operations that differentiate backroom fixtures visually or work in environments where a darker finish handles wear better. Special catalog colors carry an 8 to 10 week lead time and are rarely necessary for backroom applications unless a chain-wide program requires finish consistency throughout the building.

The most common ordering mistake on S-Series is treating the upright frame and the shelf beam as interchangeable with gondola components. They are not. S-Series uprights use a different slot pattern than gondola Uprites and do not accept TL or DL gondola shelves. If you are replacing components in an existing S-Series installation, confirm the upright series before ordering beams or decking. Buyers who are expanding an existing S-Series run also need to verify bay width before selecting beam length, since mixing beam spans within a run creates load inconsistencies. Decking must match the beam span exactly. For special-order finishes or non-standard bay configurations, plan for extended lead time and confirm availability before committing to an installation schedule.
