Mirror Integration and Sightlines

Hair color aisles benefit from mirror placement customers can reach without leaving the aisle. The two placements we specify most:

• Endcap mirrors: Full-height mirror panels on the endcap of the hair color run, angled so a shopper standing mid-aisle can see themselves against the shade card. This works best when the endcap is positioned toward the primary customer flow rather than the back wall.
• Mid-run mirrors: 12 in. to 18 in. wide mirror inserts hung on Pegboard at eye level, spaced every 8 ft. to 12 ft. along the color aisle.

Mirror hardware is not a stock Lozier gondola item. We spec it as add-on casework or mount to Pegboard with standard J-hooks and mirror clips.

Locked Cabinets for Prestige and Professional-Only

Prestige haircare, professional color developer, and licensed-cosmetologist-only SKUs (including some brand programs that require credential verification) are usually specified as separate lockable casework rather than Lozier gondola. Lozier's open-shelf platform is not the right tool for a locked display. When a client needs both formats in the same store, we lay out the gondola runs first and treat the locked prestige cases as a discrete zone with its own millwork, typically near the register or the pro-only counter. If you already have casework, we spec the gondola to match its finish and depth so the transition reads intentional.

Testers and Open-Sample Display

DL Shelves at 17 degree downslope are the right call for lipstick, nail polish, foundation compacts, and mascara testers. The forward pitch presents the product face to the shopper without adding a separate riser, and the 17 degree angle keeps small round items from rolling. Yes. The Quick Connect LED system is designed to retrofit onto existing Lozier Uprites and shelves. You need the lights, a matching driver sized to the total run, and cord management clips. Call us with your section count and shelf lengths and we will size the driver and quote the components.

What Lozier finish hides fingerprints best in a beauty aisle?
Platinum (PLT) is the most forgiving of everyday handling and camera glare. Cool White (W08) reads cleaner and brighter but shows scuffs sooner. Chrome Plated (BCP) is accessory-only in the Lozier system and is not offered on Uprites or Backs, so it is not a structural finish choice; if you want a metallic look on the shelving itself, Sparkle Silver (QH3) is the Optional Catalog path with an 8-10 week lead time [cite: LozierFinishMap.php, BCP is accessory-tier only].

Do I need a downslope shelf everywhere?
No. Reserve DL 17 degree shelves for small forward-facing SKUs where the package face is the selling point. Use flat TL Shelves for bottles, jars, and boxed sets. A mix reads better than an aisle of all downslope.
