What is Lozier S-Series Storage Shelving used for?

S-Series is Lozier's backroom and stockroom shelving system. It handles heavier loads and taller sections than customer-facing gondola. Common uses include grocery backrooms, pharmacy stockrooms, automotive parts backrooms, hardware store storage, and general warehouse organization.

What widths and heights does S-Series come in?

Two section widths: 3 ft (36 inches) and 4 ft (48 inches). Section heights match the Uprite range: 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, 96, 108, 120, and 144 inches.

What is the difference between Regular Duty and Heavy Duty crossbracing?

Regular Duty (RD) crossbracing is available for section heights 36 inches through 96 inches. Heavy Duty (HD) crossbracing is required for section heights over 96 inches per Lozier installation instructions. Sections over 96 inches also require two sets (upper plus lower) rather than a single set.

How many crossbraces or back panels does a run require?

Per Lozier install instructions, stabilization is required on both end sections of each run plus every 4th interior section. That stabilization can be provided by either a Crossbrace or a Back Panel per required section.

What accessories are typically ordered with S-Series?

SS2221 Screws (joining open uprite pairs and back panels), SS1511 Lock Washers, SS1311 Back-to-Back Connectors (closed uprite pairs), WS1241 Floor Anchors (safety-required when bottom shelf is above 6 in from floor), SSUC Uprite Connectors (extending unit height), SSFS Floor Protectors / Shims (leveling on uneven floors), SS1151 Back Panel Splicer (two-piece assemblies over 96 in), and SS12xx Sliding Dividers (compartmentalizing shelves).

What finish does S-Series ship in?

Structural components (Uprites, Shelves, Crossbraces, Base and end hardware) ship in Galvanized (GLV) finish as standard. Sliding Dividers ship painted Gray (GRY). The SS1151 is the Back Panel Splicer used at the mid-height joint of two-piece back panels. Back panel material and finish specifics vary by configuration; consult the Lozier S-Series catalog for the current spec on your SKU. No Optional Catalog Color is offered on the structural S-Series line.
