Compatibility: Lozier uprights slot into Lozier base brackets and accept all Lozier rails, shelves, and back extensions. Uprite End Trim (UET) is required on every exposed uprite end per Lozier installation instructions. For wall sections, anchor whenever fixture height exceeds base depth by a 6:1 ratio, and anchor base brackets of any free-standing wall section regardless of that ratio (Lozier Gondola Shelving Installation, p7-8). See anchor plate parts DC1241, DC1242, and DC1248. Compatibility with other manufacturers' uprights is not guaranteed.
Designed for: Grocery store wall and island runs, C-store planogram configurations, drug store and specialty retail fixture builds, and any commercial environment requiring a reconfigurable gondola system with precise per-inch shelf placement.

Frequently Asked Questions

What finish options are available for Lozier gondola uprights, and how long do they take to ship?

Lozier Uprites are available in six standard structural finishes: Platinum (PLT), Charcoal (CHR), Cool White (W08), White (WHT), Gray (GRY), and Silver (SIL). Standard finishes typically ship in 1-3 business days. Optional Catalog Colors from Lozier's Classic, Natural, Industrious, and Color collections (Oyster, Tan, Hunter Green, Silver Vein, Copper Vein, and others) are available on special order with an 8-10 week lead time. Always pair your upright finish code with matching rails, backs, and base brackets for a consistent appearance across your gondola run.

Can I mix Lozier uprights with shelving components from other manufacturers?

No. Lozier's own installation guidelines state that you should not combine Lozier products with non-Lozier products. Doing so may compromise the structural integrity of the shelving system and could create unsafe conditions. Always use genuine Lozier components throughout your gondola installation to maintain proper fit and allowable load ratings.

Do Lozier uprights require anchoring, and are there crossbrace requirements?

Anchoring and crossbrace requirements depend on your specific installation configuration, including uprite height and whether the section is a wall-anchored or freestanding gondola run. Lozier installation instructions provide detailed anchoring information and crossbrace requirements based on height. Local building, fire, sanitation, and seismic codes may also apply. The fixture owner is responsible for verifying compliance with local authorities. For specifics on your configuration, reference Lozier Installation Instruction 01-13P or confirm with our team at 800-934-6798.
